The plagues are to smitten Egypt (the siege) that afterwards he doth send the drawn (the delivered) away. The Pharoah (great house) did believe Jehovah is God, but believed is one thing spoiled is another. Believed doesn't mean spoiled. Spoiled means to snatch away, deliver, rescue, save, strip, plunder.
