When I was prompted the 1st question.  I Thank God for David's wisdom in answering the question. I appreciated David wisdom of letting God made the decision for him. YLT 2Sam 24:14: "14 And David saith unto Gad, `I have great distress, let us fall, I pray thee, into the hand of Jehovah, for many [are] His mercies, and into the hand of man let me not fall.`" For the wisdom of knowing God is merciful that His choice will be merciful. Then I wondered why seven years, three months and 3 days. Seven years of famine - in hunger, in wants. Seven means completeness, also mean curse. Years - seasons of up and down repeatedly in wants, no ending. 3 Months - a season A season fleeing before my adversary -- and he pursuing me?  How long a season, depends on me.
