What Question Did John Answer In Mark 9:38?

Mar 9:38: "38 And John did answer him, saying, `Teacher, we saw a certain one in thy name casting out demons, who doth not follow us, and we forbade him, because he doth not follow us.`"

What's the question John answered?

Mar 9:34: "34 and they were silent, for with one another they did reason in the way who is greater;"

Who is greater? the one who casting out demons in the Name of Jesus who did not follow them or them who follow Jesus?

📌 It's not about who is greater

To be first, shall be last of All, serve and minister of All.  Only Jesus, the beginner and the finisher.

📌 The focus, the objective is always Jehovah is Salvation.  The Beginner and the Finisher.

Mar 9:36-37: "36 And having taken a child, he set him in the midst of them, and having taken him in his arms, said to them,
37 `Whoever may receive one of such children in my name, doth receive me, and whoever may receive me, doth not receive me, but Him who sent me.`"

Why taken a child? Why first set the child in their midst, then taken him in his arms?  what's the meaning?

Such children!  A chosen one - be set to recognized, acknowledged he/she is the least in strength, in needs, who has nothing to offer, who can only be a receiver, a taker (set in the midst of the mighties) is then received in Jesus' arms - embrace by God)

📌 It's not the greater, but the least received in Jesus' arms.
📌 the one who may receive the least, may receive Jesus and the God the Father.

📌 it's also not about who a person follow BUT Do a Mighty Work in the Name of Jesus (Jehovah is Salvation).

Mar 9:39: "39 And Jesus said, `Forbid him not, for there is no one who shall do a mighty work in my name, and shall be able readily to speak evil of me:"

Mar 9:33-41

📌 The world pursue greater, follow us.  God said, we need to learn from a child, the least, be humble, teachable, be a taker from God, receive such a child, the least that chosen by God.  And forbid not a person who do a Mighty Work in the Name of Jesus (Jehovah is Salvation), who is not against us is for us, it doesn't matter he/she follow you or me but Jehovah is Salvation being proclaimed and Jesus and God the Father being glorified.


Lord Jesus,
Thank you for direct us back to the will of the Father, the One Thing needy in our life - Jehovah is Salvation, the eternal life bought by Your Finished Work at the Cross and show us the way into you bossom.  Learn from a child and receive such a child in Jesus Name Amen!


John 3:16: for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during."

It costs the Father, His only Begotten Son, to send you this invitation to be His beloved child, that you be part of His Family, call Him 'Father'.

Why books were mentioned in Acts 19:19?

Paul was disallowed to get involve in the stir, it is part of our growing process in our walk with God. When I was a new believer, I was not tuned to hear from the Holy Spirit, many things in the Bible I wasn't able to understand, I will look up commentaries if any verses in the Bible I couldn't understand.  I thank God He led me to the correct way of reading His Word, always read from the Bible, if can't understand then look up others input. As time past, I hardly read from any other materials except the Bible itself.   The Word is so rich and alive, I hardly had anytime for books other than the Bible. The above revelation that I share came three weeks ago.  I was not at ease to share, worried many might feel offended but I fear God the more, no way I can run from what He had called me to do. What did we miss? (1Chr 17)

This is a very important message, a reminder to consult God even if we are called a prophet.  No one know God's plan except God the Father Himself. YLT Mar 13:32 `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known -- not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son -- except the Father. This is the 2nd time recorded, Nathan the prophet did not consult God before he reply David (2Sam 7), and after the second time God corrected him, no more word from him was heard of.   We all are given chance to repent, do learn from every correction.
