Which Changes of Garments are You Wearing?
The son of the righteous is giving five changes of Garments, which one are you wearing?
Five changes of garments given for five phases of walk in Christ. Just like a child as he/she growth they need to change to garments that are fitting.
The garment represent a person's status;
The walk with God, relationship with God, the phase the person in his/her walk with God.
Five Garments, Five Phases (refer to coming post on five phases).
Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, The rest of the books if refer to New Testament respectively.
Matthew: Get to know Jesus - Jehovah is Salvation.
Mark: Learn about Jesus' work, heard of others testimonies.
Luke: Personal encounter with Christ, own testimonies, fellowship with God like friend
John: even closer relationship with God, discipleship, One with the Father.
Church: The body of Christ.
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John the focus is about transformation of self.
The 5th phase focus shifted to the Church.
The five changes of garments already given long before we grow to the respective status, awaiting for us to be ready to put on. Transformation doesn't happen over night, we transform as we get to know more and more about Jesus.
It takes two hands to clap. God is waiting for us to put on the next change of garment.
Gen 45:22: "22 to all of them hath he given -- to each changes of garments, and to Benjamin he hath given three hundred silverlings, and five changes of garments;"
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for the five changes of garments given to me. Thank You that Your yoke is light (Mat 11:30), as I take up Your yoke, place that desire in me to learn from You, for You are meek, humble in heart; And I shall find rest to my soul in Jesus Name Amen.
30 for my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.`"
John 3:16: for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during."
It costs the Father, His only Begotten Son, to send you this invitation to be His beloved child, that you be part of His Family, call Him 'Father'.
