Why proverbs not in Jesus' list?

YLT Luk 24:27:  and having begun from Moses, and from all the prophets, he was expounding to them in all the Writings the things about himself."

YLT Acts 26:22-23: 
22 `Having obtained, therefore, help from God, till this day, I have stood witnessing both to small and to great, saying nothing besides the things that both the prophets and Moses spake of as about to come,
23 that the Christ is to suffer, whether first by a rising from the dead, he is about to proclaim light to the people and to the nations.`"

Why God did not include proverbs?

It is the proverbs of Solomon. Proverb of Solomon's failure.

Solomon failed even he was given wisdom and knowledge.

All the words in the Bible is Truth, the book of proverbs too.

Some books in the Bible are serving as warning, to guard our heart from wrong doer.

All words are God breathe and important.  However, God wants us to focus on what mentioned in Moses and all the prophets the things about Jehovah is Salvation 1st.

Salvation is bearing our own cross and follow Jesus.

Paul followed the teaching of Jesus, saying nothing besides the things that both the prophets and Moses spake of as about to come (Acts 26:22-23)

Know what's about to come.  Our journey is written in the Bible. The Holy Spirit will testify by remind us and expound to us all the sayings about Jehovah is Salvation in our journey.

The key is we need to know the sayings Jehovah is Salvation in the Bible to be reminded, to expound to us.

The word proverb/proverbs only mentioned six times in the whole YLT, four in the book of proverbs and another two in book of Job and 2Chr 7.

YLT 2Chr 7:20: "20 and this house that I have sanctified for My name, I cast from before My face, and make it for a proverb, and for a byword, among all the peoples."


YLT Job 17:6: "6 And he set me up for a proverb of the peoples, And a wonder before them I am."

From these two verses we see God's perspective about proverb.



Abba Father,

I Thank You for Your Word.  Thank You for corrected my focus, my direction and shown me what the necessary I had missed in the Bible that every resurrected life should behold, the essential guide books in our walk.  Thank You for continue to speak to me, expound Your Word to me in Jesus Name Amen.




John 3:16: for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during."

It costs the Father, His only Begotten Son, to send you this invitation to be His beloved child, that you be part of His Family, call Him 'Father'.

Why books were mentioned in Acts 19:19?

Paul was disallowed to get involve in the stir, it is part of our growing process in our walk with God. When I was a new believer, I was not tuned to hear from the Holy Spirit, many things in the Bible I wasn't able to understand, I will look up commentaries if any verses in the Bible I couldn't understand.  I thank God He led me to the correct way of reading His Word, always read from the Bible, if can't understand then look up others input. As time past, I hardly read from any other materials except the Bible itself.   The Word is so rich and alive, I hardly had anytime for books other than the Bible. The above revelation that I share came three weeks ago.  I was not at ease to share, worried many might feel offended but I fear God the more, no way I can run from what He had called me to do. What did we miss? (1Chr 17)

This is a very important message, a reminder to consult God even if we are called a prophet.  No one know God's plan except God the Father Himself. YLT Mar 13:32 `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known -- not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son -- except the Father. This is the 2nd time recorded, Nathan the prophet did not consult God before he reply David (2Sam 7), and after the second time God corrected him, no more word from him was heard of.   We all are given chance to repent, do learn from every correction.
