What did we miss? (1Chr 17)

This is a very important message, a reminder to consult God even if we are called a prophet.  No one know God's plan except God the Father Himself.

YLT Mar 13:32 `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known -- not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son -- except the Father.

This is the 2nd time recorded, Nathan the prophet did not consult God before he reply David (2Sam 7), and after the second time God corrected him, no more word from him was heard of.   We all are given chance to repent, do learn from every correction.

As I shared before, all similar events are of purposes, some to show us our progress, some to highlight gaps, for correction, milestone.  The previous examples I shared were from New Testament, here are the examples from Old Testament.

Doing good and for God is good, but most important - is it of God?

Do talk to God, fellowship with Him to know what is of God.



Abba Father,

Thank You for shows us how we can contribute in You building us a house, be a man according to Your heart, who shall do all Your will (YLT Acts 13:22).

Thank You for the important messages to correct our understanding and reminder to always seek You, consult You our desire, plan, work before execution.

I pray that You guard our heart, our soul, and our mind all the days of our life, and correct us if we deviated from Your will, the path, the course You had set for us timely in Jesus Name Amen!

It costs the Father, His only Begotten Son, to send you this invitation to be His beloved child, that you be part of His Family, call Him 'Father'.
