Why all these histories in the Bible?

There's no short cut to come to know God, to learn the mysteries in the Bible.

Reading the Bible is different from reading a book.

We need the Holy Spirit to expound to us when reading the Bible.  It is a two way communication.

Individual, God might reveal His answer in a different way, as for me He spoke to me at moment I'm not expecting His Word, no room for my mind to manipulate, to clearly distinguish what's from Him, and He testify His Word within the week.

I was given a Bible (NT) in English by a stranger before I was twelve.  I love reading books but I put it down after a few pages, 'What kind of book is this? Why all these names? Who wrote this book? Who would read this kind of book?'.  I kept it in my drawer.

 A few years later, I was given another Bible (NT) in my mother tongue, also by a stranger.   I decided to read it, again I put it down.  I wasn't a believer back then.

Without the help of the Holy Spirit, the Bible isn't an interesting reading material, I couldn't know it is Living Word, It is alive. 

Let the Holy Spirit lead where to read from, Be at rest in reading the Bible as like having a coffee with God.

Jesus came to redeem us and brought us His Word.  The Bible is given that everyone get to commune with Him at our level of understanding, at our own pace.  We have personal attention from Him 24x7.

'Be thou following me.'

This is the Wisdom of God.

Each just need to focus on our walk with Him, be obedient to His Word.  Everyone just need to do the same, let God be God, just like the body - every cell focus on what it is called to do by the brain, not what other cell is doing but own, a perfect system.




Abba Father,

Thank You for gave us Jesus, the Word, our personal scroll - the Bible, the Living Word, and the Holy Spirit, the constants that make no error like man.

Who knows better, can teach better than the Trine God, about the Way, the Truth and the Life?

You know man has gaps, can misunderstood your teaching;  Thus, you gave us Your Word and through Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit the constants to minister, to teach us, to testify You Word.

To know a personal takes time, I'm glad I invested my time to know You, to know Your Way, the Truth and the Life.  Nothing better than encounter You, able to fellowship with You, consult You anytime any where liberally.

Thank You for Your Love and Your Gifts.

I pray all to excel with Your Gifts, to the mark pursue for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus Amen.  (YLT Phil 3:14)

It costs the Father, His only Begotten Son, to send you this invitation to be His beloved child, that you be part of His Family, call Him 'Father'.

Why books were mentioned in Acts 19:19?

Paul was disallowed to get involve in the stir, it is part of our growing process in our walk with God. When I was a new believer, I was not tuned to hear from the Holy Spirit, many things in the Bible I wasn't able to understand, I will look up commentaries if any verses in the Bible I couldn't understand.  I thank God He led me to the correct way of reading His Word, always read from the Bible, if can't understand then look up others input. As time past, I hardly read from any other materials except the Bible itself.   The Word is so rich and alive, I hardly had anytime for books other than the Bible. The above revelation that I share came three weeks ago.  I was not at ease to share, worried many might feel offended but I fear God the more, no way I can run from what He had called me to do. What did we miss? (1Chr 17)

This is a very important message, a reminder to consult God even if we are called a prophet.  No one know God's plan except God the Father Himself. YLT Mar 13:32 `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known -- not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son -- except the Father. This is the 2nd time recorded, Nathan the prophet did not consult God before he reply David (2Sam 7), and after the second time God corrected him, no more word from him was heard of.   We all are given chance to repent, do learn from every correction.
