Why sometimes God spoke to David through another?

Yes, we might misunderstood God, but He himself will correct our understanding.

Fear learning the truth doesn't change the truth, the sun still there even we hide ourselves from it.

God has set a table before all of us, each is presented with what they need in different season and different walk of life;  what A needed to feed on is not for B but part of it might be good for B in the present season; do take our main meal from the table and not from another's plate.

Beside seeking God directly through the Word and the Holy Spirit, we are called to break bread from house to house and gather on the sabbath to hear the Word, the teaching and the reasoning.  We are called to eat at home before come to gather on the sabbath (1Cor 11:34).  As to what I know, BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) is adapting this practice, did own reading of the Word before gather to break bread (sharing what individual has glean, reasoning) and hear the teaching of the Word.

One thing need to note, given doesn't imply received, has the knowledge doesn't means the person does apply the knowledge, transformed;

It takes two hands to clap.  God has given, it is our choice - receive and live the Way of God or live our own way.



Abba Father,

Thank You for call us out of fear, give us peace and rest.  Thank You for Your Offer to teach, guide and build us up personally.

I pray all to give You our hands to follow Your Way, be fellowship with You, to embrace the Life age during You will to give us in Jesus Name Amen.



John 3:16: for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during."

It costs the Father, His only Begotten Son, to send you this invitation to be His beloved child, that you be part of His Family, call Him 'Father'.

Why books were mentioned in Acts 19:19?

Paul was disallowed to get involve in the stir, it is part of our growing process in our walk with God. When I was a new believer, I was not tuned to hear from the Holy Spirit, many things in the Bible I wasn't able to understand, I will look up commentaries if any verses in the Bible I couldn't understand.  I thank God He led me to the correct way of reading His Word, always read from the Bible, if can't understand then look up others input. As time past, I hardly read from any other materials except the Bible itself.   The Word is so rich and alive, I hardly had anytime for books other than the Bible. The above revelation that I share came three weeks ago.  I was not at ease to share, worried many might feel offended but I fear God the more, no way I can run from what He had called me to do. What did we miss? (1Chr 17)

This is a very important message, a reminder to consult God even if we are called a prophet.  No one know God's plan except God the Father Himself. YLT Mar 13:32 `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known -- not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son -- except the Father. This is the 2nd time recorded, Nathan the prophet did not consult God before he reply David (2Sam 7), and after the second time God corrected him, no more word from him was heard of.   We all are given chance to repent, do learn from every correction.
