My Fellowship with God

Between the two characters in the Bible - Daniel and Joseph, who is more blessed?

Image
Daniel was of no blemish, and of good appearance, and skilful in all wisdom, and possessing knowledge, and teaching thought, and who had ability to stand in the palace of the king (YLT Dan 1:4), he was praying and confessing (giving thanks) three times daily (YLT Dan 6:10).   Yet non said God was with him. YLT Dan 6:10: "10 And Daniel, when he hath known that the writing is signed, hath gone up to his house, and the window being opened for him, in his upper chamber, over-against Jerusalem, three times in a day he is kneeling on his knees, and praying, and confessing before his God, because that he was doing [it] before this." YLT Dan 1:4: "4 lads in whom there is no blemish, and of good appearance, and skilful in all wisdom, and possessing knowledge, and teaching thought, and who have ability to stand in the palace of the king, and to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans." What is missing? The spirit of God was not in Daniel.  What others saw was

Why choose not to see God now?

Ever ask why give us this thick Bible?  If I get to know God in person and have all my questions answered after I passed on why give me the Bible? The only reason I can think of without referring to the Bible - it is important we learn God's Way, the Truth and inherit life age-during now that Jesus came to bore our sins, gave us the Word (The Bible), gave us the Holy Spirit. To embrace the heaven on earth is a choice. Redemption is the licence to enter the gate of heaven,  it's just the beginning.   Let's pursue the high calling of God with the help of the Word and the Holy Spirit, be the sons and daughters that following Him - a disciple Amen. YLT Phil 3:12: "12 Not that I did already obtain, or have been already perfected; but I pursue, if also I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by the Christ Jesus;" Abba Father, Thank You for Your Son Jesus Christ, the Word and the Holy Spirit.   Thank You for the journey of transformation.  I ask that we

Why the Nephilim (giants) are bread? (YLT Num 14:9)

Image
This is my understanding, the Nephilim are giants in outward appearance, the truth is that they are infants that refused to feed on God's Word and nourishment from the workers of Christ.  They are unskilled in the word of righteousness yet refused to grow through feeding on milk, also not eating nourishment from the workers of Christ. YLT 1Pet 2:2 as new-born babes the word`s pure milk desire ye, that in it ye may grow, This reminds me of Jews rejection of the Good news, Paul and Barnabas turn to preach to the nations. YLT Acts 13:46: "46 And speaking boldly, Paul and Barnabas said, `To you it was necessary that first the word of God be spoken, and seeing ye do thrust it away, and do not judge yourselves worthy of the life age-during, lo, we do turn to the nations;" The Nephilim was the people of the promise lands, they were given milk and honey but they thrust it away.  God give the land to Israelites (God prevails), in order to possess the land their need the journey in

Why sometimes God spoke to David through another?

Image
Yes, we might misunderstood God, but He himself will correct our understanding. Fear learning the truth doesn't change the truth, the sun still there even we hide ourselves from it. God has set a table before all of us, each is presented with what they need in different season and different walk of life;  what A needed to feed on is not for B but part of it might be good for B in the present season; do take our main meal from the table and not from another's plate. Beside seeking God directly through the Word and the Holy Spirit, we are called to break bread from house to house and gather on the sabbath to hear the Word, the teaching and the reasoning.  We are called to eat at home before come to gather on the sabbath (1Cor 11:34).  As to what I know, BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) is adapting this practice, did own reading of the Word before gather to break bread (sharing what individual has glean, reasoning) and hear the teaching of the Word. What did we miss? (1Chr 17)

Image
This is a very important message, a reminder to consult God even if we are called a prophet.  No one know God's plan except God the Father Himself. YLT Mar 13:32 `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known -- not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son -- except the Father. This is the 2nd time recorded, Nathan the prophet did not consult God before he reply David (2Sam 7), and after the second time God corrected him, no more word from him was heard of.   We all are given chance to repent, do learn from every correction. As I shared before, all similar events are of purposes, some to show us our progress, some to highlight gaps, for correction, milestone.  The previous examples I shared were from New Testament, here are the examples from Old Testament. Doing good and for God is good, but most important - is it of God? Do talk to God, fellowship with Him to know what is of God. Abba Father, Thank You for shows us how we

Why all these histories in the Bible?

Image
There's no short cut to come to know God, to learn the mysteries in the Bible. Reading the Bible is different from reading a book. We need the Holy Spirit to expound to us when reading the Bible.  It is a two way communication. Individual, God might reveal His answer in a different way, as for me He spoke to me at moment I'm not expecting His Word, no room for my mind to manipulate, to clearly distinguish what's from Him, and He testify His Word within the week. I was given a Bible (NT) in English by a stranger before I was twelve.  I love reading books but I put it down after a few pages, 'What kind of book is this? Why all these names? Who wrote this book? Who would read this kind of book?'.  I kept it in my drawer.  A few years later, I was given another Bible (NT) in my mother tongue, also by a stranger.   I decided to read it, again I put it down.  I wasn't a believer back then. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, the Bib

What's wrong with giving suck? (Gospels - YLT)

Be strong and courageous. Fear is not of God. YLT 2Tim 1:7: "7 for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind;" Let us remain green and not dry. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light.  (YLT Mat 11:30) YLT Luk 11:28: And he said, `Yea, rather, happy those hearing the word of God, and keeping [it]!` This has been said repeatedly, `And wo to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days;' (YLT Mat 24:19, Mar 13:17, Luk 21:22) Be obedient, those hearing the word of God and keeping it are blessed. Indeed it is a concern; All are given the Word and the Holy Spirit, but not all receive the Word and the Holy Spirit.  Not received because of disbelief, disbelief they are worthy. Jesus has came to give His Life for us, what's more worthy than God's only begotten Son? Yet He gave His Life for you and me. Many has the personal scroll Jesus came to give us,
